Ibn Khaldun and the Foundation of Inference in Islamic Culture Or How Can Ibn Khaldun be Invoked Now?

Abstract

This research presents Ibn Khaldun's approach through the introduction as a model for intellectual creativity and scientific objectivity and then looks at ways and how to renew and generalize the Khaldunian experience, based on the two most important methodological pillars: 1- The overall concept, considering its nature as a key to possessing the ability to create knowledge, 2- The mechanisms of scientific investigation as the necessary tools that adherence to will lead to the ability to be scientifically creative. The research concluded that the optimal assimilation of the Khaldunian approach will contribute to illuminating what modern knowledge has been unable to decipher, especially those related to human and religious affairs and their place in existence, based on the tacit reconciliation between the mental and transmission knowledge of Ibn Khaldun. As well as the distinction between the sacred, which is taken as it came with the preponderance of its validity, and the historical jurisprudence that must be subjected to the objective science of urbanism in order to dismantle and reformulate it again according to the requirements of each era.
