The Management of Modern Public Sphere: towards a contribution in social peace.
Abstract
The research aims to discuss the role of contemporary public space management and the extent of its contribution to social peace modern society has faced several challenges and inconveniences that have led to different social, political and cultural violence hence the necessity to question the role of the public sphere Human beings, social by nature, crucially need the other socially, economically and politically, and socializing is necessary to realise a distinguished lifestyle. Public sphere is a cornerstone in establishing society, empowering institutions and to preserve rights with justice and spread social security and safety, as well as managing the community by peaceful and equal coexistence. Habermas, a pioneer, who set the modern definition of public sphere and demonstrated its importance, characteristics, and cultural, political and social functions. It is a tool, not only for criticism and propaganda, but also a pressing proposal power to develop production and motivate innovation, and an exceptional tool for social change and political reform. What does, then, public sphere mean in the modern context? What is its function? How does it act to reunifying today’s divergence? And what relation does it have with religion, identity, and the values of peaceful coexistence?
