Dialogue Terminological study: concept, curriculum and function With prof.Dr. Farida Zomorrod
Abstract
This interview conducted by Professor Youssef Akrash with Professor Farida Zummurud on the “terminological study: concept, approach and function” sheds light on this topic, which has become important in the current scientific scene, by clarifying several matters, including the concept and standard of terminological studies, and highlighting the historical aspect of terminological studies in terms of theory and application with talk about the sources of strength and the most important pioneering turns in its history. Then it discusses the accumulation of the level of this course of studies and the functions it provides for knowledge, with an indication of its importance in clarifying the terms of the Qur’an and the approach taken by terminological studies. Dr. Farida Zummurud concluded the interview by presenting a group of research gaps and scientific proposals mixed with advice and methodological guidance that is indispensable to the researcher.
