Islamic Political Thought in the Middle Ages
Abstract
The current research aims to clarify the Islamic political thought in the medieval era. It has been divided into six chapters. The first dealt with the centrality of Islamic political action. The second dealt with the experience of governance in medieval Islam. The third was on the position of Sharia in the historical model of Islamic rule. The fourth chapter dealt with the Islamic political heritage. The fifth discussed Griffin Rosenthal and his efforts in studying Islamic political thought. The sixth was about political thought in the medieval era.
